Spotted Gum has a moderately coarse texture, variable grain with a frequent presence of wavy grain which produces an attractive fiddleback figure.

Spotted Gum grows in Victoria/ New South Wales border to Maryborough in Queensland, Australia.

The heartwood is a pale to dark brown, with a pale to white sapwood. It will generally resist colour change.
