Wood Products International (NZ) Limited warrants Mahogany decking against rot and / or decay when used in residential building projects for a period of 15 years.

This warranty is subject to the following conditions:

1. The installation must comply in all respects with local building codes.
2. The installation must allow adequate ventilation for the decking, and must have adequate clearance from ground contact. The product is only warranted for above ground applications as per the uses applicable to Hazard class 3.2 per AS1604.
3. The installation must comply with the installation guidelines provided by Wood Products International (NZ) Limited.
4. The deck should be regularly cleaned and maintained.
5. The warranty is not transferable from the original purchaser.
6. The original purchaser must submit a warranty registration form, within one month of installation and receive and retain a warranty certificate.
7. The warranty covers the cost of replacement decking or refund at Wood Products International Limited’s discretion. The warranty specifically excludes the costs of installation , removal , or freight costs.
8. No other warranties expressed or implied are offered on any Wood Products International (NZ) Limited lumber product or service, other than those expressed here.
9. The decking will grey in colour rapidly after installation if no coatings are used. The change in colour does not represent any grounds for cover under this warranty. It is strongly recommended that a suitable coating be used to protect the colour and appearance of the Mahogany decking , and to extend its service life.
